The Programme

Students will receive Rugby coaching from the world-famous Ospreys Rugby Coaching & Development staff and no matter what your ability, you will undergo a comprehensive course covering technique, tactics, physical, mental and social elements of the game, in a fun and friendly atmosphere. The afternoons are generally allocated to English lessons, delivered using our ‘British council’ accredited partners at ELTS Swansea University. Students are grouped according to ability so that they can all improve quickly. The interactive lessons cover grammar and vocabulary but also place a large emphasis on conversational English and for the English speakers extra-curricular activities.

After the days’ activities there will also be a chance to socialise and enjoy evening activities with students from across the Europe, providing a cultural opportunity of a lifetime. Accommodation with our regional partner, Swansea University, completes the experience along with various activities and excursions. Students discover South Wales, learn new skills, stay healthy and speak English – the perfect combination for a summer study break.

Our aim is to provide activities on and off the pitch that capture the spirit of rugby. A feature of the content is encouragement for improvement with their rugby ability but will also cover: cross cultural interaction, inclusion, teamwork, drugs in sport and fair-play.
